Throughout the evening on Saturday, February 20, ticketholders with and without add-ons are encouraged to explore our virtual art show, browse our online silent auction, enjoy the interactive activities in your gift bags, all while watching video testimonials in our main virtual room.

5-6PM CT - Virtual Artist Live-Painting w/ Q&A (add-on)

6:15-7:15PM CT - Virtual Artist Talk w/ Q&A (add-on)

7:30-9PM CT - Virtual Painting class w/ Dabble (add-on)

9-9:30PM CT - Virtual Trivia Game (add-on)

9:30-10pm CT - Virtual Wrap-up Party (included with admission ticket)

2021 Gold Key Gala FAQ

1. How do I access the event? Where is the Zoom link?

   • The Zoom link was provided in an email titled “Gold Key Gala Zoom Link” sent to attendees on 2/20/21. If you cannot find the email, please contact gala@povertyandthearts.org to be resent the link.

2. How do I buy art?

   • You can buy art by browsing works in our virtual gallery or online marketplace. Access full instructions here.

3. Do I have to pay shipping on items I buy or bid on tonight?

   • No, your admission ticket provides you free delivery and shipping on all artwork, merchandise, and auction items you buy or win tonight during the Gold Key Gala.

4. How much do artists earn?

   • POVA artists earn 60% of all original artwork sales and 25% on prints and merchandise. Remaining proceeds are invested back into our programming to help continue to provide studio space, art supplies, and educational opportunities for our artists.

5. Can I talk directly to an artist?

   • Due to the nature of this virtual event, it is difficult to facilitate one-on-one Q&As with an artist. If you have any questions for specific artists, please submit them through the chat and our chat moderator will facilitate asking the artists the questions and allowing them to respond. Refer to our Zoom Basics Guide here for instructions on how to use the chat.

6. How do I make a donation?

   • If you would like to make a donation to support our programming, click here to make a donation online or mail a check to 1207 Dickerson Pike Nashville, TN 37207 made out to ‘Poverty and the Arts’.

7. Can I purchase an add-on during the virtual event?

   • Yes, if you would like to purchase an add-on at any point during the virtual event, please contact us at gala@povertyandthearts.org or (615) 669-2236 and we will send you an invoice to pay immediately so you can attend the add-on. *This only includes the following add-ons: Artist Live-Painting and Artist Talk

8. Are there ways to be involved after this event?

   • Yes, there are several ways to get involved after tonight. We are currently looking for board members with backgrounds in social work, mental health, and marketing. Other ways to volunteer can be found here.

9. Who do I contact if I experience technical issues?
