UNIQUE WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

Teaching Artists

Several of our talented artists enjoy teaching their favorite mediums and unique skill sets. Our artists are available for hire to teach children and adults. Click the button below to submit a request and learn more.

Non-Exclusive One-Time-Use Licenses

Do you manage the logistics of your holiday card printing already? Consider purchasing a non-exclusive, one-time-use license for a card design to print your own cards and merchandise! This convenient and affordable option allows you to still financially support the artist who created the card design.

  • In December 2020, country artist, Tenille Townes, purchased a license for Deuce’s “Ho, Ho, Ho” graffiti-style Christmas tree.

  • In December 2022, BXWD Properties purchased a non-exclusive, one-time-use license for ten different Daybreak Artist images and created a company calendar!

  • In December 2022 and 2023, FACET DESIGN purchased a licensed for ‘Christmas Stripes’ by Kateri (2022) and Sidney Sparkle’s ‘Making Cookies’ (2023).

“How do artists learn about Daybreak Arts?”

Open Table Nashville

Open Table Nashville’s “Where To Turn In Nashville” resource guide is a 160-page printed guide that lists information for more than 300 resources for people experiencing poverty in Middle Tennessee. We helped OTN create an “Arts” section in their annual guide because we believe the arts are just as essential for people in poverty as food, housing, pets, and healthcare! Daybreak Arts (previously POVA) is under both the Arts and Employment sections.

Room in the Inn

Daybreak Arts’ mission and vision was birthed in the Art Room at local homeless service organization, Room In The Inn (RITI). For the first two years as a nonprofit, Daybreak Arts (previously POVA) hosted bi-annual Community Art Days at RITI where community members could attend and create art with Daybreak artists and the homeless participants at RITI. Currently, we partner with Room In The Inn to recruit new artists and refer our active artists to their services.

If you have a publication or organization that may help artists learn about our program, contact our Executive Director, Nicole, for collaboration opportunities.
