POVA artists learned all about photographer, Dorothea Lange, by utilizing the Frist Art Museum’s Art Trunk. Dorothea Lange was a documentary photographer and recorded the difficult everyday life of her era to create empathy and shed light on the Great Depression and post-war period. We can’t wait to follow-up our workshop with a field trip to the Frist Art Museum this Friday to see the “The Politics of Seeing” exhibition in person.
