Pride Month Exhibition with Queers United In Liberating TN (QUILT)

Thank you to everyone who exhibited and attended the opening of our collaborative pride month art show with Queers United In Liberating TN (QUILT).

Queers United In Liberating Tennessee is a member-run campaign dedicated to organizing the unorganized, poor, working class queer people of Tennessee.

Stay tuned for an upcoming collaboration and additional opportunity to see the show in an effort to promote QUILT’s current campaign, ‘Burn Debt, Not Books’ where they are raising $10,000 to help abolish 1 million dollars of medical debt for low income Tennesseans! In Tennessee, at least 1 in 5 people have medical debt, making TN one of the 10 states with the highest rate of medical debt. Medical debt is a queer issue, racial justice issue, feminist issue, and southern issue. Medical debt is also a major contributing factor to people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.
