Meet A.M. HASSAN

A.M. HASSAN joined our Artist Collective in September 2016. She is from Nashville, TN. Her artistic talents surfaced at an early age. She earned an Associate Degree in Architectural Engineering and Construction at Nashville State Community College and studied Architectural CAD at Gulf Coast Community College. Her work has been featured at numerous events and exhibits over the years, including the Art Gallery in the Nashville Parthenon, the Nashville Sign Billboard, and various prominent exhibition locations in Florida. A.M. HASSAN's mediums of choice are acrylic, oil, and watercolor. After the theft of a crucial paycheck, she was homeless for a year with her husband. She now uses this experience to educate people about misconceptions of homelessness. A.M. HASSAN is often inspired by scenery around her and elegantly translates her experiences in ethereal paintings.

“When you’re out there homeless, a lot of people lose hope because there doesn’t seem to be a way out. If you can do something to express those feelings, you can find some beauty in your life.”
