Summer Arts Fest

Join us on Saturday, July 27th from 1-4pm at Daybreak Arts and DRKMTTR on Dickerson Pike for our 10th birthday celebration, Daybreak Arts Summer Arts Fest!

Thank you Bongo Java and Fido Nashville for donating coffee to our event to provide our attendees a delicious coffee bar!

This month marks tens years since we received our IRS determination letter which turned our Founder’s inspiration and relationships into an official tax-exempt nonprofit Artist Collective! After meeting Kateri and Sam during her internship in the art room at Room in the Inn, Nicole was inspired to provide a platform and marketplace for the talented artists she me there. She filed for 501c3 status fall of her Senior year at Belmont University, graduated May 2014, and received the official acceptance letter in July 2014! Daybreak Arts (then Poverty and the Arts) started its first year as a nonprofit with Kateri and Sam using donated space and supplies from Turnip Green Creative Reuse.

Since 2014, we’ve served over 125+ and paid out over $90,000 to artists experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in Nashville, TN!
