2026 Illuminate Art Gala: Where Dreams Come To Light
We are proud to introduce our 2026 Illuminate Art Gala honorees—three extraordinary individuals whose passion, leadership, and dedication help make Daybreak Arts shine:
Morgan Miller – Legacy Leadership Award
Laura Wessels – Guiding Light Award
Lila McCann – Maker of Magic Award
Legacy Leadership Award
Morgan Miller’s six years of dedicated service—including her leadership as Board President, Secretary, and Chair of the Real Estate Committee—have guided Daybreak Arts through growth and transition, leaving a lasting legacy of vision and impact. With 14 years of experience in the design and construction industry across hospitality, multi-family, and development projects, Morgan brings a specialized and technical perspective to both Daybreak Arts and her role at Scalora Consulting Group.
Guiding Light Award
Laura Hood Wessels, in addition to being the first to purchase gala tickets this year, is a steadfast champion whose generosity, advocacy, and unwavering support continue to guide and light the way for Daybreak Arts and its artists. As Principal Designer and Owner of FACET Design, Laura is a former Daybreak Arts board member and a current donor and Real Estate Committee member.
Maker of Magic Award
Lila McCann’s wide-ranging support—from directly supporting artists to securing sponsorships and helping orchestrate the gala each year—transforms vision into reality and makes magic happen. Lila is the Managing Broker of MW Real Estate Co. at City Heights and a Realtor and Partner at Living True Home Group. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Nashville Chapter of the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance.
We are deeply grateful for the generosity and commitment of our 2026 honorees! Join us on Saturday, March 28th as we celebrate them during our 12th annual Illuminate Art Gala. Learn more at DaybreakArts.org/gala
