Meet Wendy Jones

Wendy Jones joined our Artist Collective in 2026. Wendy is a self taught mixed media artist based in Nashville, TN, who integrates traditional wood carving with pencil drawing and acrylic painting. Her work explores bold realism of nature, fantasy and some abstract art pieces. Over the years she has developed a distinct visual language visualized by her pencil drawings, paintings and relief carvings with vibrant acrylic washes. Wendy creates realistic dimensional, tactile pieces that bridge the gap between sculpture and painting. Driven by an interest in nature, mythical, fantasy and geometrical pattern. She transforms raw timber into complex visual narratives. Wendy’s distinctive approach highlights the natural grain of wood while introducing structured painted elements.
